Meschiya Lake and the Little Big Horns Lindyhop, Verenigde Staten
"She rocks back on her heels, lifts her chest and opens her throat like an air-raid siren to croon in a thrilling, pre-microphone style that is easily audible above the band. From the deep blues of ‘Send Me to the 'Lectric Chair’, to the swinging ‘On a Coconut Island’, Meschiya Lake can make you feel by turns as though you were sitting around a campfire in a railroad yard or drinking in a Budapest night club, circa 1938."
