Sylvia Houtzager, Peter Weekers en Erik Visser vergaarden onder de naam Flairck eind jaren ’70 en ’80 wereldwijde roem met haar onnavolgbare instrumentale mix van klassiek, folk en jazz. Met het verstrijken van de jaren is de muziek van Flairck tijdloos gebleken en de band brengt nu onder de titel The Lady’s Back  een nieuw 'best of' live album uit, met een selectie uit het Flairck repertoire van 23 albums en 250 tracks! Natuurlijk zullen de bekende stukken zoals Variaties Op Een Dame en Oost West Express niet ontbreken, maar is er ook nieuwer werk opgenomen!

Vanaf dit najaar treedt Flairck op in haar meest succesvolle bezetting (plus de Mexicaanse bassist Pablo Ortiz) in zo'n 70 Nederlandse theaters. Met tomeloze energie, muzikale acrobatiek en een doorleefde humoristische presentatie brengen ze een selectie uit hun enorme oeuvre. (UK) During the '70's and '80's the musicians of Flairck traveled the world with their inimitable instrumental mix of folk, jazz and classical music. Now, thirty five years after the first performances, the group will release a recently recorded live album called The Lady's Back with the very best of the vast repertoire of 23 CD's and 250 tracks, including Variations on a Lady and East West Express, and also later work.

From October 2014 Flairck will perform in 70 Dutch theaters in the original line up from the eighties. They are joined by Mexican virtuoso Pablo Ortiz on bass. With their instrumental acrobatics and humorous presentation, you will hear, see and feel the "best" of the vast Flairck repertoire. See the tourlist for up to date information. 

(ES) Flairck - Sylvia Houtzager, Peter Weekers y Erik Visser - el grupo que en los años ’70 y ’80 obtuvo fama mundial con su fusión instrumental de música Clásica, Folk y Jazz, presenta bajo el título The Lady’s Back un álbum compilación con lo mejor de sus música en vivo. Una selección de entre los 23 álbumes y 250 piezas del repertorio de Flairck, incluyendo no sólo obras emblemáticas como Variaciones sobre una Dama y Expreso de Este a Oeste, sino grabaciones de nuevos trabajos. 

A partir de octubre 2014 Flairck se presenta, con su más exitosa formación (y Pablo Ortiz en el bajo y la guitarra) en cerca de 70 teatros holandeses. Los miembros originales vuelven a unir sus fuerzas para combinar sus obras maestras con nuevas acrobacias musicales en una presentacion llena de humor.
